When an adolescent is struggling with a mental health issue, life can feel chaotic not only for the patient, but for the entire family. Mental health issues can affect adolescents differently than adults - their symptoms and behavior can severely impact family life.

We at BCA-StoneCrest Center fully understand the difficulties and challenges our youth face everyday and are committed to providing the best psychiatric treatment necessary to help them get back on track. With a focus on reintegrating patients back into the community, each child is involved in therapeutic activities throughout the day. The daily activities are designed to increase problem solving and communication skills, coping abilities and enhance self-esteem.

The goals of the program are reinforced through modalities such as individual and group therapy, family therapy, expressive arts, goals group, therapeutic recreation, as well as special and regular education classes. Families are important contributors to treatment and therefore, family involvement is highly encouraged. We give every adolescent the opportunity to reach his or her maximum potential in an environment that fosters success.
